Trip to Dibrugarh(Assam)

Trip to Dibrugarh(Assam)

#exploringdibrugarh

Me and my sister set a plan  to went Dibrugarh in last summer, which is approx 170 KM from my home. and we made a schedule, So according to schedule we take a bus from Roing (Arunachal pradesh) at morning and arrived at Dibrugarh nearly 11 AM. Dibrugarh is a district of Assam. Well know as tea city of India. The name Dibrugarh is derived from Dibarumukh. "Dibru" which mean a blister and "garh" meaning "fort". Dibrugarh is a main city to connect Assam from Arunachal Pradesh through railway and roadway.

After arrived to our destination we decided to firstly went to Jagannath temple, which is the famous tourist place in Dibrugarh. Which is 5-6 KM from the  main town. Jagannath temple is replica of orginal shri Jagannath temple in Puri, Odhisha.

Location: Khanikar Rd, Chring Gaon, Assam 786003

The temple is beautifully crafted with red stone and typical architecture. This stone is dedicated to lord Jagannath as the name suggest. The temple is beautifully built and it is surrounded by tea gardens. Once you enter inside the temple, there is sense of calmness and there is sense of closeness with god. So from my point of view if anyone wanted to go Dibrugarh in future, then it is almost compulsory to visit this beautiful  place if you not do then you missed  a great chance to see this awesome place.

After the Jagannath temple we went to DTP DYKE point which is near to bank of  Brahmaputra river.

Location: 37, AT Rd, Dibrugarh, Assam

DTP is a prefect destination for tourists. The sunset view is really awesome, You can't forget to capture this view so if you want to go to DTP  you should  carry your camera and capture a beautiful moments and store for life long .The best timing to go DTP point is evening. Near the DTP point you can explore interesting theme, colorful landscapes, music, prop and all merchandise are available at same place.
